On April 4th 2008, our
On April 4th 2008, our girls, a few of their friends, & one of their cousins, went to an inter-faith youth conference, (our oldest had to work). They got to hear a few different talks about postitive self -worth & beauty from the inside out. The girls were very uplifted & they felt thankful for being alive and realized all that they take for granted!
The finale of the evening was Alex Boye'. He is an incredible person, entertainer & a spiritual man. He was so wonderful with the kids! My husband & I went half-way through his performance & watched, (well we tried until he made us get up & do a performance with him & some other parent's & kids!). He was so positive with the kids, such a great influence on them all!! You can't help but be happy when you are around him!
The kids were so excited to meet him, & are so glad they went! They can hardly wait to see him again! We bought his CD, it is wonderful, we all love the songs on it!
As we were looking through the credits on the CD, we saw that Jim Funk produced it, we live in the same ward that his younger brother Matt lives in, & where Jim's parent's recently used to live! It is a small world!
